So he launched an attack on Judea and besieged Jerusalem. He had the trapped Jews proclaim that they should pray quietly to their god - he would not help them any more than the gods of other races could help them. And so they mourned their God and he sent down an angel who destroyed Sennacherib's army, all men and officers.
