At the beginning of 2009, Dave (guitar) and Stefan (vocals) founded the Pagan and Folk Metal band Jörmungand. In November 2011 - after various appearances, including on the Hard'n Heavy's Summernight OA and at the Black Troll Festival - dissolved Jörmungand due to internal differences, after which Dave and Stefan dared a fresh start with the band SOULREAVER under new occupation. At the beginning of 2013, Soulreaver released the EP "Katharsis". In the course of this year, however, the band went through as a result of a membership exit in the breaks. In autumn 2013 Stefan and Dave decided to revive their pagan souls and came together with Jens (guitar - at that time bassist at Soulreaver) to the decision to dust the name Jörmungand and breathe new life. After an intense musician's search, drummer David, keyboarder Nelli (Fyrnreich) and bassist Daniel could be won for the band. Under dull moaning and thunder rumble you can now hear Jörmungand's awakening on the high seas!
